Licensing AIS for Commercial Use
AAAM issues commercial licenses to companies wishing to incorporate and distribute the copyright protected Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) (c) in their software products.
- The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable and time-limited.
- The license authorizes the use of the AIS via an API connection within in a product that will be distributed to their clients.
- Licenses are not permitted to modify or amend the map in any way.
- AAAM prohibits the use of this content in any way with generative AI, including AI training, scraping, or ingestion.
- There should be no suggestion of endorsement of the product or the company by AAAM.
Companies wishing to obtain a commercial license are asked to complete the license application so that the proposed use of the AIS are evaluated. For more information, contact kcookman@aaam.org
Licensing AIS for Healthcare System or Individual Entity Use
AAAM issues licenses to healthcare systems as well as individual's needing to incorporate the copyright protected Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) (c) into their database/systems.
- The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable and time-limited.
- The license authorizes the use of the AIS via an API connection only.
- Licenses are not permitted to modify or amend the API in any way.
- AAAM prohibits the use of this content in any way with generative AI, including AI training, scraping, or ingestion.
If you have a need to incorporate the AIS into your database, for day-to-day use, or a research project, you must complete an application with the proposed use/need of the AIS are evaluated. For more information, contact kcookman@aaam.org
